Welcome to the First Annual Digital Consumer Event

As a concrete follow up of the 2021 Consumer Summit, and implementing the new Consumer Agenda, this first ever Annual Digital Consumer Event will focus on two core issues linked to the digital transformation of consumers.
We will be exchanging views with a wide range of stakeholders to reflect on whether current EU rules ensure equal fairness online and offline. We are also discussing how we could extend the successful voluntary Product Safety Pledge commitments to new consumer law areas, encouraging online marketplaces to go for the extra mile in the interest of EU consumers.
